In the year 2008 the small size taximeter P6L with LED display was launched into the market, offering the usability of the Panther series and SEMITRON's unsurpassed reliability.
With the arrival of the Panther 6 MID series new types of innovative Taximeters made their appearance like the P6F with integrated printer that combines all the operations required by a professional taxi driver.
The Thermal Printer designed and created by SEMITRON was introduced in the year 2003, to meet the needs of applications that require a small size and industrial printing.
6 Panther 5C
The Panther 5C was launched in 1996 succeeding to achieve more than 20k pieces sold in the upcoming years. This was the year where Semitron moved into the new company-owned facilities in the industrial area of Sindos in Thessaloniki.
Panther 5S was designed specifically for Swedish market. That was the kick for Semitron’s exporting activities.
The Panther 5 series arise in 1994 aiming to support the European markets. Also, this year, the company’s form changed to Semitron S.A.
The improved version of Panther 4 was launched into the market two years after its first appearance.
In the beginning of the 90s the next generation Panther 4 was available to the increasingly devoted customers of SEMITRON.
The company launches in 1989 the Panther 3. The same year the company’s name changed to SEMITRON.
Having sold over 10k devices, Panther 1 gives its place to the more advanced Panther series , after ten successful years.
The Panther Taximeter is well received in its first three years by the taxi drivers, garnering glowing reviews from local newspapers.
Panthir Elektronik launches its first product, after nearly two years of research and development.
